Inde Navarrette

Inde Navarrette is an actress recognized for her breakout performance in the thriller film Obsession and her emerging presence among prominent Latino and Hispanic entertainment talents. She has garnered industry attention following major film festival exposure and honor roll selections by national critics organizations.

Navarrette starred alongside Michael Johnston in director Curry Barker's Obsession, which made its debut inside the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness sidebar on September 7, 2025. The thriller quickly generated intense buzz among festival audiences and Hollywood buyers, resulting in a reported fifteen million dollar acquisition deal with Focus Features. One year after its premiere, the creative team reflected on the film's unexpected viral momentum.

Following her festival success, Navarrette became the focus of Hollywood casting speculation. Media reports debunked viral rumors claiming she rejected a role in director Michael Mann's crime sequel Heat 2 to play Rogue in Marvel's upcoming X-Men reboot, confirming she only attended an initial meeting with Mann and was never extended a contract. In August 2026, the Critics Choice Association selected Navarrette as a featured breakout honoree for its sixth annual Celebración of Cinema & Television.
