App privacy
Privacy policy for the BUZZBEAT iOS and Android apps.
Effective October 29, 2026
Who operates the apps
BUZZBEAT is operated by a New York limited liability company. For app support, privacy or rights requests, contact hmedia@hmedia.co. This policy covers the native apps. The website privacy policy separately covers browsing buzzbeat.tv.
Reading without an account
You do not need an account to read articles. The apps do not track users or use user-tracking analytics. The public content feed does not require a login, set account cookies or create a reader profile.
Bookmarks on your device
Saved bookmarks are stored on your device, not in a BUZZBEAT reader account. They are references to stories, not full offline article downloads. Remove a bookmark in the app to remove that saved reference. Reading the story and loading its images still require internet access.
Content and image requests
When you browse, search or open an article, the app sends the requested category, search terms, article identifier and pagination information to BUZZBEAT content services. These requests retrieve published editorial content. The feed handlers do not save a personal search history or associate requests with a reader account.
Loading a photo makes a request to the editorial image host identified by its image URL. A direct image request goes to that host; images served through buzzbeat.tv are requested from BUZZBEAT. As with any internet request, the receiving service can receive an IP address, request time, requested URL and technical request information. This is distinct from tracking a reader across apps or websites.
Services and operational logs
BUZZBEAT uses Lovable Cloud for content services and storage. The website and content requests are delivered through hosting infrastructure using Cloudflare. The support address uses Google email services. These services process the requests or messages needed to deliver content, operate the service and handle support.
Hosting, content and image services may keep operational, security or error logs under their own service policies. The feed does not maintain a separate reader activity database. Its no-store response setting concerns content caching, not the retention of infrastructure logs.
Provider information: Lovable privacy, Cloudflare privacy and Google privacy.
Support messages, retention and deletion
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information or attachments you choose to include. This information is used to handle your support, privacy, correction or rights request. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Support correspondence is handled through the support mailbox, separately from device bookmarks. To request access, correction or deletion of correspondence or other personal information held by BUZZBEAT, email hmedia@hmedia.co. We may need information sufficient to identify the relevant records and verify that the request is yours. Information required for a legal obligation or an unresolved rights or security matter may need to be retained.
There is no single app-wide retention period: device bookmarks remain until removed, support messages are separate mailbox records, and infrastructure logs are governed by the relevant provider's retention settings and policies. Deleting a bookmark does not delete correspondence or provider logs. A privacy request can also ask which records remain and what deletion is available.
Sharing and external websites
Native sharing opens your device's sharing options. The destination you choose receives the article link and any content you choose to share under its own privacy rules. Opening an external website or a video link takes you to a separate service with its own data practices. Visiting the BUZZBEAT website is covered by its website policy, including the website's analytics and advertising practices, rather than this native app policy.
Audience
The apps provide general-interest celebrity and entertainment news, not a service directed at children. No account or personal details are needed to read. If you believe a child has sent us personal information in a support message, contact us to request its removal.
