Inde Navarrette Jokes Her Hit Horror Movie Is Actually a Rom-Com in Hilarious ‘SNL’ Promo

Inde Navarrette is leaning into the screams and the laughs ahead of her Studio 8H debut. The rising star, who skyrocketed to fame following her role in the massive horror hit *Obsession*, is officially taking over the stage for this season’s spooky holiday celebration on *Saturday Night Live*. In a fresh promotional clip released mid-week, Navarrette feigned utter bewilderment regarding why producers brought her in for late October. Rocking a crimson frock, the actress enthusiastically wished fans a happy Valentine's Day before outlining her romantic evening plans. The bit prompted cast member Grace Reiter to step in and set the record straight, reminding her that late October calls for frights, not Cupid.

During the humorous promotional segment, Reiter pointed out the obvious calendar reality, clarifying that the sketch series specifically invited Navarrette because she headlined the most dominant scary film of the year. Navarrette stood her ground, hilariously insisting the terrifying project functions entirely as a love story. To drive the gag home, the actress slipped straight into the eerie vocal tone from *Obsession*, reviving the chilling line that took over pop-culture feeds all year long. The brief moment proved she has no problem poking fun at her newfound reputation as a modern scream queen while preparing for live sketch comedy.
