Herzog’s next cinematic venture is titled *Bucking Fastard*, a project now forever tied to Lynch through its opening dedication. The movie draws inspiration from a true story about twin sisters named Joan and Jean who reside together on the outer fringes of society. Real-life celebrity sisters Kate Mara and Rooney Mara take center stage to play the central twin sisters in the upcoming drama. Though Lynch ultimately missed out on seeing the Mara sisters perform in the dedicated feature, Herzog’s meaningful gesture ensures the late director’s unmatched legacy remains commemorated on the big screen.
