Sam Smith

Sam Smith is a London-born pop superstar and Grammy-winning music artist known for chart-topping vocal performances and soulful ballads. After gaining global prominence with early breakout tracks, Smith has established a major presence in pop music, drawing on personal experiences, modern romance, and emotional growth across multiple studio albums.

Throughout their career, Smith has released several prominent hit tracks that achieved high chart success, including the duet Unholy with Kim Petras and the 2014 hit ballad Stay With Me. The performer's work has also been involved in notable copyright discussions. A dispute over Stay With Me resulted in co-writing credits for rock icon Tom Petty, while the hit single Dancing With a Stranger, recorded with Normani, became the subject of a federal copyright lawsuit. During moments of public debate surrounding provocative music releases, veteran industry peers like Madonna offered personal support.

In recent developments, Smith released a fifth studio album titled Hazel Eyes, a 12-track collection inspired by partner and fiancé Christian Cowan, a British fashion designer, as well as Smith's adopted home in New York City. The couple confirmed their engagement and made their first joint public appearance together in Manhattan. Smith also participated in UK studio sessions alongside fellow artists and faced potential courtroom testimony as legal proceedings continued regarding ongoing copyright claims.
