Weezer

Weezer is an alternative rock band known for power-pop melodies and heavy guitar riffs. The veteran group features frontman Rivers Cuomo, bassist Scott Shriner, and drummer Patrick Wilson. Spanning several decades of recordings since bursting onto the music scene with 1990s power-pop hits, the band has built a broad discography of studio releases and live performances.

The band marked a career milestone with the release of a self-titled record widely known as The Gold Album. The project leans into the group's signature '90s sound, featuring loud guitar work, quirky themes, and a direct follow-up to their classic track Undone (The Sweater Song). Promotional efforts included a late-night television appearance where Cuomo performed covered entirely in gold metallic paint.

To support the project, Weezer announced a 32-date North American fall arena tour titled Weezer: The Gathering, featuring guest acts The Shins and Silversun Pickups. Members Shriner and Wilson have also discussed the group's renewed internal chemistry as well as potential big-screen film aspirations.
