Ringo Starr biography
Ringo Starr is an iconic musician and drummer who achieved global fame as a member of the legendary rock group The Beatles alongside bandmates John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison.
The Beatles officially split in 1970, sending shockwaves through the music industry. Decades after their high-profile breakup, Starr has reflected on the missed comeback opportunities and devastating losses that prevented the original four members from ever reuniting on stage for an official tour. Despite the lack of a live reunion, rare archival tracks from the band's 1965 studio sessions for Rubber Soul continue to be released to the public.
Beyond his early band history, Starr has maintained a long-standing marriage to former Bond girl Barbara Bach, whom he met on the set of the 1980 feature film Caveman. His musical legacy extends through family, including his son Zak Starkey who drums for The Who, and through modern pop culture, as actor Barry Keoghan prepares to portray Starr in a major Beatles biographical film series.
- Coverage surrounding Ringo Starr focuses on his enduring legacy with The Beatles, highlighting both unreleased studio archival material and reflections on the band's post-1970 history.
- Reports also track his personal life alongside long-time wife Barbara Bach and detail how younger generations, including his son Zak Starkey and actor Barry Keoghan, carry forward his musical footprint.
