Emma Slater

Emma Slater is a professional dancer on the reality competition series Dancing With the Stars. As a veteran pro on the franchise, she creates and performs weekly live routines alongside celebrity dance partners while navigating the show's high-pressure environment.

During a recent season of the show, Slater was paired with Jackson Olson, an exhibition baseball player for the Savannah Bananas. Prior to their season premiere, Slater traveled to perform on the field alongside Olson and his squad. The duo made their ballroom debut with a Savannah Bananas-themed cha-cha set to the Spice Girls hit "Wannabe," earning a score of 15 out of 30. Despite facing strict scoring and critical feedback from longtime judge Carrie Ann Inaba, Slater maintained a positive mindset and refused to dwell on low points.

Off the dance floor, Slater is in a relationship with fellow professional dancer Alan Bersten. The couple quietly built their romance over more than a year after working alongside each other for years on the series, continuing to balance both competition and romance as the show unfolds.
