Maggie Sajak Cheers On Boyfriend Jackson Olson During His 'DWTS' Premiere

Jackson Olson swapped the baseball diamond for rhinestones and ballroom shoes, and he had his biggest fan cheering him on right from the front row. During the premiere broadcast of *Dancing With the Stars*, the 28-year-old Savannah Bananas exhibition baseball player hit the dance floor for his very first routine while his girlfriend, Maggie Sajak, watched proudly from the audience. Olson kicked off his stint on the competition series alongside pro dancer Emma Slater. The dynamic pair hit the ballroom with a high-octane, Savannah Bananas-themed cha-cha set to the iconic Spice Girls hit "Wannabe." The judges awarded the duo a score of 15 out of 30 for their debut performance.

As the routine came to an end, live broadcast cameras cut directly to Sajak, who was spotted beaming and applauding from her front-row seat. The 31-year-old *Wheel of Fortune* correspondent has been officially linked to the viral baseball figure since April, and she made sure to be present to show her support in person. Keeping their connection strong hasn't always been simple, as the two spend significant time living on opposite sides of the country due to their individual work commitments. Olson previously opened up about how the duo handles the physical distance, explaining that maintaining a healthy relationship requires active effort and intentional scheduling.

The athlete admitted that making space for a long-distance setup wasn't something he originally anticipated doing in his personal life, but his bond with Sajak shifted his outlook. He shared that prioritizing quality time and organizing trips to see one another as often as possible has allowed their romance to thrive. With Olson now stepping into the spotlight on the West Coast for *Dancing With the Stars* and Sajak staying busy with her television hosting duties, the couple continues to balance their demanding schedules. If Tuesday night was any indication, fans can count on Sajak remaining a fixture in the ballroom audience as Olson aims for higher scores in the coming weeks.
