Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam is an actor who achieved global fame for his work in television drama. He became a household name playing Jax Teller, the conflicted vice president and eventual leader of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original, starring in the FX series Sons of Anarchy for seven seasons until its finale in 2014.

Hunnam took on the lead role of real-life serial killer Ed Gein for the Netflix anthology series Monster. Immersing himself deeply in the dark material created friction at home during production, as the eerie persona spilled into everyday life with his partner Morgana McNelis. Hunnam and McNelis, a jewelry designer, have been together since the mid-2000s in one of the industry's long-standing romances.

More than a decade after Sons of Anarchy ended, Hunnam is headlining Legends, a new FX limited series spinoff project. The miniseries reunites him with original cast members Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, and Kim Coates. Original showrunner Kurt Sutter announced that he holds no operational involvement in the project's production.
