Lifetime is filling up its autumn calendar with heavy-hitting drama and sensational true stories. The network just revealed its full lineup for September, kicking off a dedicated programming event stacked with recognizable TV favorites and harrowing real-life events. Titled the "Strength of a Lifetime" movie slate, the special showcase officially gets underway on September 12. First up is the broadcast premiere of "Robin Roberts Presents Angel in the Rubble: The Genelle Guzman Story." Featuring former talk show host Sherri Shepherd alongside actor Dondré Whitfield, the project chronicles the survival of the last person rescued from the World Trade Center rubble.
What is Sole Survivor of Flight 119 about?
The dramatic momentum continues the following weekend on September 19 with the premiere of "Sole Survivor of Flight 119." Inspired by author Tammy L. Kling’s memoir *Exit Row*, the disaster flick follows a stranded woman fighting for survival in the dense Mexican jungle after a tragic aviation crash. "The Walking Dead" alumna Sarah Wayne Callies takes center stage as the solitary survivor, Lisa Foster. Meanwhile, "Parenthood" actress Joy Bryant co-stars as Rebecca Till, a compassionate official assigned to comfort and support the grieving relatives of the missing passengers back home.

Who stars in Lifetime's The Ocean Between Them?
Rounding out the fall offerings is the family-centered thriller "The Ocean Between Them," which brings a unique real-world family dynamic to the screen. 90s icon Rebecca Gayheart takes on the lead role of Joan, a mother plunged into every parent's worst nightmare when her adult daughter Miranda, played by Jessica Lord, suddenly disappears during a Caribbean trip to Belize. Adding an extra layer of real-life emotional weight, Gayheart shares the screen with her own biological daughter, Georgia Dane, who plays her character's younger child. The project marks a rare mother-daughter screen collaboration as they navigate the devastating mystery on camera. With stories ranging from remote jungle survival to mysterious seaside disappearances, Lifetime continues its long-standing tradition of translating jaw-dropping headlines and personal memoirs into high-stakes weekend television entertainment.
