Rebecca Gayheart is a veteran screen actress who earned widespread recognition for her work in film and television, including her role in the 1999 dark comedy film Jawbreaker. Throughout her career, she has performed in network dramatic features, cult projects, and live stage adaptation productions.
Gayheart expanded her performing repertoire by making her live musical theater debut in Los Angeles. Beyond her acting achievements, Gayheart actively promotes healthcare legislation to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in honor of her late husband, actor Eric Dane. Following his death from the terminal condition, she has focused on raising her two teenage daughters, Billie and Georgia, while rallying public support for federal research and treatment funding.
