Senior celebrity reporter

Rae Mitchell

Rae Mitchell covers red carpets, couple watch and the daily churn of celebrity news for BUZZBEAT. She has spent a decade tracking how famous people build — and break — their public image, and writes with a reporter's eye for the difference between what actually happened and what a publicist wishes had. Her beat runs from awards-season fashion and premiere-night arrivals to the breakups, reconciliations and legal filings that follow. She works the reality-television world alongside it, because the two feed each other constantly. Every story she files is checked against the record before publication, and she updates a piece as often as the facts move rather than leaving yesterday's version standing.
