It was a full-blown family affair over in Italy this week. Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck transformed his trip to the Venice Film Festival into a memorable night out with his eldest son, Indiana Affleck, bringing the 20-year-old along to experience the prestigious international premiere. Walking the glamorous Venetian red carpet together, the father and son captured immediate attention. Indiana dressed up for the occasion, sporting a sharp ensemble suited for the legendary European festival. The outing served as one of the few times the Hollywood child has stepped into the media spotlight beside his Oscar-winning dad.
Who is Casey Affleck's son Indiana Affleck Indiana is Casey's eldest son from his past marriage to actress and activist Summer Phoenix. While the 20-year-old generally keeps a very low profile and avoids the bright lights of Hollywood red carpets, he made a special trip overseas to support his father's newest release. The red carpet event became an even grander family reunion when Casey's famous older brother, Ben Affleck, joined the father-son duo. The three Afflecks stood together for photographers, flashing smiles and soaking in the enthusiasm from crowd members lining the waterside venue.
Why were Casey and Ben Affleck at the Venice Film Festival Both Casey and Ben traveled to Venice to premiere their newest cinematic project together. The brothers share a long history of collaborating on acclaimed film projects throughout their careers in entertainment, and bringing Indiana along added a sweet multi-generational touch to the official press tour. Onlookers and fans online were quick to comment on the striking family resemblance, noting how much Indiana takes after both his famous father and his A-list uncle. As the festival continues to showcase major film debuts, the Affleck family's united red carpet appearance stood out as one of the warmest moments on the docks of Venice.
