Rivers Cuomo

Rivers Cuomo is an alternative rock musician and frontman for the band Weezer. Known for his power-pop melodies and heavy guitar riffs, he has led the veteran group across decades of music releases since their initial rise in the 1990s.

Cuomo's work with Weezer includes landmark projects such as early career tracks like Undone (The Sweater Song) as well as later milestone records including The Gold Album. In addition to his work with Weezer, Cuomo contributes as a guest collaborator for other recording acts, including a featured spot on a project by the Australian electronic collective The Avalanches.

Recent coverage highlights Cuomo's visual promotional efforts and live performances. He engaged in a high-profile late-night television appearance covered in head-to-toe metallic gold paint to promote new music, and he continues to lead Weezer on major North American arena tours alongside co-headlining indie rock acts.
