Sterling Point

Sterling Point is a Canadian young adult mystery and coming-of-age television series created by Megan Park. The show made its streaming debut on Prime Video on August 5, 2026, centering on 17-year-old Manhattan native Annie Jacobson, played by Ella Rubin. Set against the backdrop of Canada's picturesque Muskoka lakes and a drama-filled private island, the narrative involves teenage romance, complicated friendships, twin dynamics, and family secrets.

The project represents creator Megan Park's initial foray into television, serving as writer, director, and co-showrunner. Industry hitmakers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage joined the production as executive producers, infusing the series with the signature 2000s teen drama formula they previously developed on iconic youth series. The main cast also features veteran actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Annie's adoptive dad and 23-year-old actor Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie as Ellis.

Upon release, the series quickly climbed to the top of internal streaming charts on Prime Video and locked down a glowing 90 percent approval rating from critical reviews. Following its strong audience engagement and critical reception, Prime Video officially greenlit Sterling Point for a second season shortly after its initial premiere.
