Starz

Starz is a television and cable platform known for commissioning, broadcasting, and managing original television drama and comedy programming. The network distributes specialized series and expands popular entertainment franchises through original spinoffs and co-productions.

Coverage of Starz highlights its expanding slate of scripted content and high-profile partnerships. The network collaborates on titles like the dark comedy series Sweetpea alongside Sky, starring Ella Purnell, and broadcasts projects like Curtis 50 Cent Jackson's British boxing drama Fightland. Starz also continues building out major television brands, notably expanding its Power universe with the prequel series Power: Origins featuring returning cast members.

Beyond new series additions, the network makes strategic decisions regarding the lifecycle and broadcast timelines of its programming. Starz officially slated the conclusion of the drama P-Valley, ordering a nine-episode third and final season to air following a four-year hiatus since its second season concluded in 2022.
