Rupaul

RuPaul is a television host and executive producer who spearheads the reality competition franchise RuPaul's Drag Race. Also referred to as Mama Ru, the entertainer guides drag performers through main stage runways, Werk Room challenges, and harsh critiques as contestants compete for titles such as the UK's Next Drag Superstar.

The global franchise overseen by RuPaul has grown into an influential pop culture machine, frequently producing viral internet moments, popular commentary clips, and online memes featuring guest judges and competing drag queens.

Media coverage surrounding RuPaul's hosting efforts often focuses on major broadcast shifts across the international brand. Following an eight-season run on BBC Three in the United Kingdom, the UK spinoff series transitioned to direct-to-consumer digital distribution on the WOW Presents Plus streaming platform owned by production company World of Wonder.
