My Chemical Romance is a New Jersey alternative rock band fronted by lead singer Gerard Way. Known for their defining 2006 operatic concept album The Black Parade, the group established themselves as central figures in mid-2000s alt-rock and pop-punk culture.
In September 2026, the band undertook their North American stadium tour titled Long Live The Black Parade. The massive production featured full performances of their four-times platinum album followed by secondary B-stage sets. During a show at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, the group debuted the song The Light Behind Your Eyes live and dedicated Boy Division to late guitarist Andy Williams.
The group announced an expanded 20th anniversary reissue of The Black Parade set for release via Reprise Records, featuring six bonus tracks including rare live recordings from an October 2007 club show. At their tour finale at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Way revealed that the band hopes to return to the studio to record their first new full-length album in fifteen years.
