Misty Green

Misty Green is a Hollywood showbiz drama feature film written, directed, produced by, and co-starring Chris Rock. The project marks a dramatic directorial effort for the filmmaker and features British actor Rosalind Eleazar in the title role as a former top-tier talent and Emmy Award winner struggling to stage a career comeback in Los Angeles.

The movie centers on the chaotic spiral of a once-celebrated actress navigating the ruthless underbelly of Tinseltown. Rather than delivering a light entertainment piece, the film offers a dark, relentless, and unflinching look at fading stardom, industry pressure, and the grueling hustle to get back on top in the entertainment business.

Misty Green made its public premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where initial reactions generated early award chatter surrounding Eleazar's central performance. Following the successful screening, Rock participated in a festival keynote conversation, reflecting on his career behind the camera and the high-stakes mentorship that shaped his development as a director.
