About Kiss

KISS is a glam rock band co-founded by bassist Gene Simmons and guitarist Paul Stanley. Recognized for their larger-than-life performances, the group established a dedicated international fan base known as the KISS Army while producing classic rock records during their prime mid-1970s era.

The band actively preserves its historical archive, announcing a comprehensive 50th anniversary box set for their seminal 1976 album Rock and Roll Over. Scheduled to release on November 6, the expansive package features over 100 rare tracks, unreleased demos, exclusive memorabilia, and brand-new audio mixes overseen by legendary producer and sound engineer Eddie Kramer.

Members of KISS remain active through public appearances and generational musical endeavors. Co-founders Simmons and Stanley attended a Los Angeles Angels game at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, where both participated in ceremonial duties on the pitcher's mound. Additionally, their sons Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons teamed up as the musical duo Stanley Simmons, releasing a debut album titled Dancing While the World Is Ending.

  • Coverage of KISS balances historical retrospectives of their peak 1970s releases with updates on the band members' current public appearances.
  • Media attention also extends to the next generation of the band's legacy through musical projects created by the co-founders' children.
