Island Records

Island Records is a music record label that distributes studio albums, digital streaming tracks, and physical retail releases for commercial recording artists. The organization plays a central role in managing album rollout schedules, coordinating single debuts, and serving as the primary release platform for artists establishing distinct musical eras.

The label is issuing pop singer-songwriter Remi Wolf's third studio album, titled Mud, which is scheduled to land on major streaming platforms and physical retail shelves on October 9. The eleven-track project represents a major milestone in her expanding catalog, supported by single releases including the primary lead track Twiggy and the follow-up single Bottle.

Coverage of record labels underscores their involvement in supporting multi-track studio offerings and structured release campaigns ahead of full-length autumn launches. By coordinating digital releases alongside physical retail distribution, the label helps frame the public rollout of new projects for hitmakers navigating their catalog growth.
