Alana Thompson

Alana Thompson, widely known to reality television viewers as Honey Boo Boo, is a former child pageant phenomenon and television personality. She first captured national public attention on the competitive child pageant circuit before starring in reality television programming alongside her family members.

As she reached adulthood and celebrated her milestone 21st birthday, Thompson launched a complete career pivot away from the public entertainment industry that originally made her a household name. Reports confirm she traded stage makeup and reality filming segments for hospital scrubs, actively training to become a certified pediatric nurse focusing on children's intensive care.

Thompson's family remains frequently covered in public news alongside her personal milestones. Her mother, Mama June Shannon, and her family traveled to Colorado to celebrate her birthday in August 2026 while also remembering her late sister, Anna Cardwell, who passed away in 2023. Her older sisters Jessica Shannon and Lauryn Efird also continue to feature in media reports detailing their legal personal developments and professional endeavors.
