Young Thug Surprise-Drops Massive 'Slime Language 3' Double Album

Young Thug is back in a massive way, and he brought his entire roster along for the ride. The Atlanta rap heavyweight and his YSL Records crew completely blindsided hip-hop fans late Friday night by dropping *Slime Language 3*, an enormous double album that arrived without any advance warning. The new release is a staggering undertaking, boasting 41 total tracks and running for more than two full hours. Rather than keeping the spotlight strictly on the label's core lineup, the project serves as a sprawling celebration of current rap culture, stacking mainstream chart-toppers alongside rising underground forces. High-wattage guests show up in full force throughout the project. Industry heavyweights like Travis Scott, Future, and Lil Baby lend major firepower to the tracklist, joining other big-name features such as Yeat, Trippie Redd, Cash Cobain, Veeze, and Rob49.

While the A-list guest list provides plenty of star power, the album remains deeply rooted in the YSL family tree. A wide array of label veterans and new signees get their moment to shine across the two-disc project. The compilation includes verses from the late Lil Keed, as well as performances from diamond*, Tezzus, Pz’, Sk8star, 1300SAINT, Yung Kayo, Biggs, iyrus, Yume, Lil Unky, and Unfoonk.

This latest surprise drop continues a long-running franchise for Young Thug's label. The series originally launched in 2018 with the debut *Slime Language* compilation, which proved to be a commercial success by entering the top ten on the Billboard 200 chart at No. 8. The brand reached even higher peaks with 2021’s *Slime Language 2*, a blockbuster record that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and led the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. That second volume spawned major radio and streaming hits, including the viral track "Ski" and the Drake-assisted hit "Solid." Now, *Slime Language 3* aims to carry that chart-topping legacy forward.
