The Banks family might be making a detour from Bel-Air straight to the ballroom. Tatyana Ali is officially putting on her dancing shoes for the upcoming season of *Dancing With the Stars*, and she already has huge ambitions for her live audience support. The actress, famous for playing Ashley Banks on the legendary nineties sitcom *The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air*, is teasing that a full-blown television reunion could take place right in the studio. Speaking after the official cast reveal, the nineties icon dropped hints about pulling some heavy-hitter favors to fill out her cheering section. Because her former television brother Alfonso Ribeiro already serves as a co-host on the hit reality competition, Ali figures she has the ultimate inside track to recruit the rest of her old crew—including superstar cousin Will Smith. ## Will Will Smith appear on Dancing With the Stars? Ali revealed to reporters that getting the A-list movie star to attend a taping will take a joint effort. She admitted she intends to work alongside Ribeiro to coax Smith into coming by the studio to watch her compete live. Having Ribeiro already running the floor certainly gives her an advantage that other celebrity dancers simply cannot match. The actress starred as the youngest Banks child on the NBC smash hit from 1990 to 1996. The classic show centered on Smith’s Philadelphia-born character adapting to luxury living alongside his wealthy aunt, uncle, and cousins in Bel-Air. The series remains one of the most culturally significant sitcoms of its era, launching massive careers for its primary stars. ## Which Fresh Prince stars played on DWTS? Ali's upcoming debut makes her the second major actor from the Bel-Air estate to step into the ballroom arena. Ribeiro famously competed on the program back in 2014, winning the coveted Mirrorball Trophy alongside pro partner Witney Carson before eventually taking over co-hosting duties for the franchise. Ali is now hoping to follow in his champion footsteps. The core ensemble also included Karyn Parsons as fashion-obsessed sister Hilary, along with the late James Avery, who played authoritative patriarch Philip Banks. The matriarch role of Vivian Banks was shared across the show's six-season run, played first by Janet Hubert and later by Daphne Reid. If Ali and Ribeiro successfully pull off their plot, ballroom fans could be treated to one of the biggest nostalgic crowds in the show's long history.
