Ron Perlman Cast in Amazon MGM Horror Feature 'Seasons'

Ron Perlman is adding another spooky project to his packed resume. The veteran actor has officially signed on for *Seasons*, an upcoming horror feature from Amazon MGM Studios that already boasts a stacked ensemble of Hollywood talent. According to industry reports, Perlman joins previously announced stars Lily James and Jack Reynor in the spine-chilling thriller. Details surrounding Perlman's specific role are currently being kept under tight wraps by the studio, leaving genre enthusiasts guessing about how his character fits into the nightmare landscape.

The project marks the second feature directorial effort from filmmaker Drew Hancock. Hancock recently made waves in Hollywood with his movie *Companion*, establishing himself as a rising director to watch within the horror space. In addition to directing, Hancock penned the screenplay for *Seasons*. The script draws directly from a popular horror short story written by brothers Matt Query and Harrison Query, which first captured widespread attention after going viral on Reddit. The online story gained a massive digital following thanks to its creepy premises and suspenseful storytelling. Amazon MGM Studios secured the rights to adapt the viral concept into a full-length cinematic release, capitalizing on the internet horror phenomenon.

The casting of Perlman brings even more veteran grit to the project. The acclaimed character actor has kept his slate packed with high-profile work, including a featured role in Apple TV's upcoming *Cape Fear* series adaptation. Alongside Perlman, leading lady Lily James and *Midsommar* actor Jack Reynor anchor the main cast. The combination of established talent and a fresh directorial vision places *Seasons* high on horror fans' watchlists. Production timelines, full plot summaries, and an official release date for *Seasons* remain undisclosed for now as development moves forward.
