NPR's El Tiny Returns With Los Tigres Del Norte And Mon Laferte

NPR is turning up the volume at its iconic Washington, D.C. office once again to launch a month-long celebration of Latin sound. The public broadcasting network has officially announced the return of its annual "El Tiny" series, bringing a powerhouse roster of Latin music legends and fresh voices to the intimate performance space in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Heading up the festival of stripped-down sets are legendary Mexican norteño group Los Tigres del Norte and acclaimed Chilean singer-songwriter Mon Laferte. Both heavyweights will strip away their massive stadium setups to deliver up-close acoustic performances right behind the famous cluttered desk.

This Year This season's collection of intimate shows spans multiple decades and genres, showcasing everything from traditional regional Mexican tunes to futuristic pop.
