KiKi Layne and Luke Hemsworth Join Jamie Foxx in Thriller 'Deadlocked'

Amazon MGM Studios is stacking the cast for its upcoming action thriller *Deadlocked*. Actor KiKi Layne and *Westworld* favorite Luke Hemsworth are the latest high-profile additions to the project, joining a lineup that is already generating plenty of industry buzz. The duo officially boards a call sheet that already boasts Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and *The Flash* breakout Sasha Calle. While studio executives and producers are currently keeping specific character details and plot points under wraps, the new additions make it clear that the film is shaping up to be a major priority for the studio.

For Layne, joining *Deadlocked* continues an impressive run across critically acclaimed dramas and high-concept action hits. After making a huge in *If Beale Street Could Talk*, she showcased her action credentials in *The Old Guard* and was recently cast in the upcoming spin-off series *Vought Rising*. Hemsworth brings plenty of genre experience to the table as well, having spent years playing security chief Ashley Stubbs on HBO's hit sci-fi drama *Westworld*. Together with Foxx and Calle, the expanded cast gives director Bhat a versatile group of performers to execute the action-packed script. With Amazon MGM Studios backing the venture and key cast members officially locked in, further updates on production schedules, additional supporting cast, and release dates are expected to roll out in the coming months.
