Isaiah Rashad Preps 'Lil Sunny's Awful Road Trip' Tour With Brutal Two-a-Day Rehearsals

Chattanooga hip-hop powerhouse Isaiah Rashad is officially turning up the heat as he prepares to hit the road. The rapper is gearing up for a major North American trek titled Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip, and he isn't taking any shortcuts when it comes to getting stage-ready for his dedicated fanbase. In a candid Zoom conversation conducted in early August, the musician revealed the heavy mental and physical workload required to pull off the upcoming live run. Rather than easing into the tour schedule, Rashad has thrown himself into demanding two-a-day rehearsals designed to build up his performance stamina and perfect his live set.

Connecting with the artist took months of careful coordination, but the wait revealed a creator deep in thought and thoroughly focused on his craft. Rashad made no secret of the fact that he has plenty on his mind as the tour kickoff approaches. Instead of putting on a polished front or claiming to have all the answers, he is openly navigating his current mindset while putting in the work behind the scenes. Transitioning into a full-scale touring schedule requires a massive shift in routine for any musician. Between dialing in setlists, sharpening his vocal delivery, and keeping his physical energy high through back-to-back daily practice sessions, Rashad is leaving nothing to chance before stepping into the spotlight.
