Erykah Badu and H.E.R. Set to Headline Spotify’s RNB X Live Showcase in Dallas

R&B lovers in Texas are getting a massive concert experience this fall. Streaming titan Spotify and Live Nation Urban have officially announced the next leg of their RNB X Live concert series, heading straight to Dallas with an enviable roster led by soulful queen Erykah Badu and multi-instrumentalist hitmaker H.E.R. The star-studded event takes over The Pavilion venue at Toyota Music Factory on Saturday, November 1, promising six full hours of smooth vocals and fresh talent. For Badu, the upcoming showcase doubles as a triumphant return home. The legendary singer born and raised in Dallas recently ended a long recording hiatus by dropping *Before the World Blows*, a collaborative project alongside producer The Alchemist that landed on August 28. Marking her first full-length effort since 2010, the new music sets the stage for what is sure to be an electric homecoming set in front of her local fan base.

While heavyweight Grammy winners top the bill, the event is also designed to spotlight the future of the genre. Rising British singer kwn joins the Texas lineup after lighting up earlier RNB X Live showcases on both coasts. Also taking the stage in Dallas are fast-rising acts Jai’Len Josey, Destin Conrad, and Rjthewierdo, creating a stacked bill that bridges beloved veteran icons with the next wave of R&B disruptors. The upcoming Texas date follows wildly successful previous editions of the RNB X Live brand across major US culture hubs. Prior stops in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and New York City brought out high-profile vocalists including Normani, Bryson Tiller, and Leon Thomas, alongside international breakthroughs like Elmiene, Odeal, and Sasha Keable.
