By claiming its 19th non-consecutive frame atop the Hot 100, "Choosin' Texas" enters an elite, historic league. The single now sits in a monumental three-way tie for the longest-running number one song in the chart's entire history, specifically within the non-holiday category. While festive tracks like Mariah Carey's holiday juggernaut reliably take over the charts every December, non-seasonal hits face a totally different battle to stay relevant across spring and summer. Langley’s track maintaining this level of dominance well into 2026 makes it an undisputed pop culture juggernaut and the biggest hit of the year by a massive margin.
