Drake Wants Jim Carrey to Brutally Roast Him for His 40th Birthday

Drake has all the money and influence in the world, but he only wants one specific present when he hits the big 4-0 on October 24. Forget shiny new jewelry, custom supercars, or lavish designer gear. The Toronto superstar simply wants to get publicly torn to shreds by a fellow Canadian entertainment icon. The hip-hop giant was inspired after comedian Jeffrey Ross uploaded a hilarious video to Instagram on Sunday, September 13. In the clip, legendary actor Jim Carrey recorded a brutal birthday roast in honor of Ross turning 61 years old. Carrey pulled zero punches during the video, cracking vicious jokes about Ross's appearance and teasing that his mother was forced to sign an NDA at birth because he was so ugly.

Ross captioned the post by describing Carrey as a "Canadian mountain man" and encouraged his fans to drop their own roasts in the comment section. He insisted that "roasting is love," prompting a wave of funny reactions across social media. Seeing the Hollywood legend unleash on the veteran comedian immediately caught the OVO boss's eye. Drake did not hesitate to drop into the comment section to state his ultimate birthday desire.

With a loaded bank account and connections spanning the entire globe, Drake can easily purchase virtually anything he wants. However, a custom video roast from Carrey is currently sitting right at the top of his wish list. The hitmaker has not revealed any other specific hints or plans regarding his upcoming 40th birthday celebration. But given that both Drake and Carrey share deep Canadian roots, fans are holding out hope that the comedy giant actually grants the request. Whether Carrey decides to pick up his camera and roast the rap icon remains unknown. But if the legendary actor comes through, Drake just might receive the most brutal—and hilarious—birthday gift of his entire life.
