The iconic band has officially expanded their North American tour schedule deep into 2027, offering fans plenty of extra chances to catch their blistering live performances. To make the announcement even sweeter, the group simultaneously unveiled their brand-new studio album, titled *There Near*, which is available to stream right now. The massive touring update arrives as welcome news for indie rock loyalists who have followed the group through decades of distorted riffs and relentless roadwork. With fresh music in rotation and an extended calendar on the horizon, the trio is setting up one of their most ambitious concert stretches in recent memory.

The newly added leg of the North American run is slated to begin on February 11th. Dinosaur Jr. will ignite the fresh schedule with an energetic two-night stand at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, New York. That double-header will set the tone for an extensive cross-country journey through several major metropolitan markets. Following their initial New York takeover, the group will bring their signature wall of sound to additional major stops. Cities officially locked into the route include Philadelphia, Orlando, and Nashville, with further dates filling out the calendar as the band stretches their journey across the continent into 2027.

The exciting road extension drops alongside the official arrival of *There Near*, the band's latest full-length recording effort. Listeners can dive straight into the new tracklist, as the album has officially hit digital streaming services in tandem with the concert news. The fresh material blends seamlessly into the group's revered discography, giving concertgoers plenty of new anthems to learn before hitting the venue floors. With decades of groundbreaking noise-pop and alternative rock under their belts, Dinosaur Jr. continues to show that their creative tank is far from empty. Between streaming their latest record and securing show tickets for the upcoming 2027 dates, long-time devotees and brand-new listeners alike have plenty of reasons to turn the volume up.
