Defying Gravity Live! 'Wicked' Live-To-Film Orchestral Tour Launching In 2027

Hold onto your broomsticks because the high-flying world of Oz is taking over concert halls in a massive way. Pop culture enthusiasts and musical theater fans are getting the ultimate soundtrack experience with an official live-to-film concert tour officially launching in early 2027. The lavish musical spectacle will hit the road with *Wicked: Part One In Concert*, combining the cinematic feature with the booming energy of a full live symphony orchestra performing right beneath the big screen. Moviegoers will watch the entire film unfold while an ensemble of professional musicians executes every dramatic cue and iconic harmony in real time.

This epic orchestral journey will officially make its global debut inside New York City’s legendary Radio City Music Hall on January 23, 2027. However, West Coast theater lovers will get a first look at the grand setup a week earlier, when a special preview performance takes place in San Francisco on January 16, 2027. The launching events mark the start of a broader roadshow. Both the initial installment and its upcoming companion film, *Wicked: For Good*, are scheduled to receive the full live-to-film treatment across the multi-city trek.
