Oscar-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle is officially serving up his next high-velocity real-life story. Following its grand debut at the Venice International Film Festival, the very first teaser for *Ink* has arrived, offering movie fans a chaotic first look inside the fast-paced rise of Britain’s most infamous tabloid newspaper. The upcoming feature adapts James Graham's acclaimed 2017 theatrical play of the same name. Set during the late 1960s, the plot chronicles the brazen takeover and aggressive overhaul of *The Sun*. Australian media tycoon Rupert Murdoch buys up the struggling publication and recruits an ambitious crew to turn it into an unstoppable printing powerhouse overnight.

To capture the frenzy, the director reteamed with veteran cinematographer Alwin H. Küchler, who previously shot *Steve Jobs* as well as the science fiction thriller *Sunshine*.

Beyond its prestigious festival debut, the rollout plan for *Ink* spans both traditional theaters and home streaming platforms. Audiences will be able to catch the theatrical run later this year before the film eventually makes its official streaming debut on Netflix in early 2027.
