Country stars took over an all-inclusive Cabo resort for three days of intimate poolside sets, beachfront vibes, and serious tropical heat.

Country music officially took over Mexico as the inaugural Country Cabo festival brought big-time Nashville talent straight to the beach. Held from September 4 through September 6, the brand-new destination event swapped out massive stadium crowds for an exclusive, luxury resort getaway in sunny Cabo San Lucas. Instead of packing tens of thousands of fans into a dusty fairground, event organizers completely bought out the Paradisus Cabo San Lucas, a 350-room all-inclusive beachfront property. By partnering with additional nearby accommodations, the festival delivered a high-end experience where concertgoers could catch their favorite artists right along the shore.

Who performed at Country Cabo?

The three-night beachfront spectacle featured a stacked lineup led by heavy hitters Jon Pardi, Riley Green, and breakout artist Tucker Wetmore. Festival co-founder Robert Fried originally set out to create the total opposite of a standard field fest, aiming to place fans within 100 feet of the performers rather than forcing them to watch distant LED screens. Beyond the main headliners, the bill was packed with high-energy sets from established acts and rising stars alike. Crowd favorites like Dasha, LoCash, and Cameron Whitcomb drew enthusiastic responses, while developing talent including Jacob Hackworth, Blake Whiten, Zach John King, and Lauren Watkins took the stage to showcase country music's next generation.

What was the weather and atmosphere like in Cabo?

To keep fans comfortable in the tropical climate, the live sets kicked off right as the sun went down. However, the heat was still very much on display, with temperatures hovering around a sweltering 88 degrees early in the evening. That warm weather only added to the festive, poolside energy as crowds gathered under the stars. By combining luxury resort perks with intimate concert setups, Country Cabo successfully launched what organizers hope will become an annual tradition. The event highlights the growing trend of destination music festivals in Mexico, giving American country fans a brand-new way to catch their favorite stars on vacation.
