Chase Hudson Eyes ‘DWTS’ and ‘The Traitors’ Following Reality TV Break

TikTok icon turned singer Chase Hudson has just wrapped up his impressive run on Fox's unscripted series *Nation's Dumbest*, but viewers expecting him to dive straight into another television project might be waiting a minute. The 24-year-old content creator, also known to millions of fans as Huddy, shared that he plans to hit pause on reality cameras while he focuses his energy back on his flourishing music career and acting pursuits. In a recent conversation with ** right before the *Nation's Dumbest* finale, Hudson broke down his strategy for balancing multiple entertainment lanes. According to the musician, maintaining longevity across music, acting, and reality TV requires knowing when to pull back. He explained that stars need to step away long enough for audiences to miss them before making a major comeback.

Even though he wants a short break, Hudson admitted there are a few iconic reality competitions he could never turn down. Highest on his wishlist is Peacock’s hugely popular competition *The Traitors*. The internet personality admitted that the show's Scottish castle location was an instant selling point, quipping that the dramatic venue alone was enough to seal the deal for him. He also has his sights set on ballroom glory. Hudson revealed that Fox executives showed immense enthusiasm for his work during his recent stint, which led him to reflect on potential next steps. Among them, he admitted that joining *Dancing With the Stars* would be an incredible opportunity that he would jump at if the call came through.

However, not every reality show is getting a warm reception from the star. Hudson drew a firm line when it comes to extreme physical endurance challenges, declaring that military-style survival shows are completely out of the question for his personal brand. Specifically, the singer ruled out ever participating in Fox's grueling series *Special Forces: World's Toughest Test*. His explanation for skipping the brutal boot camp was equal parts practical and fashion-conscious: he has no interest in ruining his fresh kicks. Hudson joked that he point-blank refuses to get his brand-new footwear filthy in the mud, establishing a very clear boundary between cozy castle mystery games and harsh outdoor punishment.
