Loud music lovers, start saving up for your summer festival trips to Germany. The organizers behind the legendary twin European festivals Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park have officially dropped their first massive artist announcement for 2027, and the initial bill is absolutely loaded with stadium-filling headliners, cult favorites, and scene pioneers. The dual festivals will take place simultaneously over the weekend of June 4 through June 6, 2027. As is tradition, the two events share the exact same roster of artists, with performers swapping venues across the three days. Rock Am Ring will once again occupy the world-famous Nürburgring racing circuit in Western Germany, while Rock Im Park sets up camp at Nuremberg’s historic Zeppelin Field.
Who is headlining Rock Am Ring 2027?
Pop-punk royalty Blink-182 will anchor the main stage at Rock Am Ring on Friday, June 4, before heading over to close out Rock Im Park on Sunday, June 6. Opening day fans are also in for a treat with electronic rock pioneers The Prodigy locked in as very special guests. The stacked Friday bill at Rock Am Ring is rounded out by high-powered sets from Falling In Reverse, Billy Talent, Simple Plan, Beartooth, Poppy, Trailerpark, and Donots. The energy stays at a peak on Saturday, June 5 at Rock Am Ring, where Baltimore hardcore powerhouse Turnstile takes top billing. UK modern rock titans Bring Me The Horizon are also slated to bring their massive stadium show to the weekend, alongside punk icons Bad Religion, ensuring non-stop action across every stage.
Is Faith No More touring Europe again?
Perhaps the biggest surprise from the initial roster announcement is the return of alt-rock legends Faith No More. The band is scheduled to perform one of their first European festival dates since going on hiatus back in 2015, making their appearance a major bucket-list moment for rock fans attending the German twin festivals. With this first wave already delivering an impressive mix of heavy hits, pop-punk nostalgia, and rare reunion appearances, the twin German gatherings are shaping up to be essential summer destinations. Organizers are expected to announce even more artist additions and day-by-day stage schedules in the coming months.
