The Inbetweeners

The Inbetweeners is a British comedy franchise and cult-favorite television series that originally aired on E4. The show became an international television phenomenon by focusing on four friends—Simon, Will, Jay, and Neil—as they navigate awkward teenage humiliation and unfiltered banter.

The franchise later expanded into feature films following its original television run. Streaming platform Netflix formally confirmed production on a third movie, titled Inbetweeners 3, with cameras rolling across the U.K. The project reunites the core quartet of lead actors as their characters enter adulthood more than a decade after the previous film.

Actress Emily Atack rose to prominence on the original series playing student Charlotte Hinchcliffe. While Atack was reportedly sidelined from earlier cast reunions and feature films, reports indicate that a gap in her filming schedule following the cancellation of her ITV series has renewed hopes for her return to the movie franchise.
