Terry Crews

Terry Crews is a television host and personality widely known for hosting NBC's hit talent competition series America's Got Talent. In his role on the show, he leads the live broadcasts, addresses home audiences, and guides the fast-paced competitive lineup through its quarterfinal and semifinal performance rounds.

Coverage of Crews highlights his presence during major moments on the live talent competition. During a quarterfinal episode, Crews paused the broadcast to deliver a solemn tribute to country music icon Dolly Parton following news of her passing. His on-air hosting duties frequently require managing high-stakes live television during significant industry and cultural events.

Crews also works closely with the show's panel of judges, including Howie Mandel and executive producer Simon Cowell. When Cowell temporarily stepped away to undergo scheduled back surgery, Crews and Mandel helped hold down the fort and spoke about navigating the production and managing the high-stakes semifinals without the head judge present.
