Sony

Sony is a global entertainment organization involved in motion picture production, feature film distribution, and record label management. The enterprise works across multiple entertainment sectors, overseeing high-profile record label operations as well as major cinematic releases.

In music, Sony Music served as the record label for pop star Perrie Edwards. Edwards spent 15 years under the direction of the company alongside her management firm, building her career from its absolute beginning before choosing to cut professional ties and leave the label's active roster.

In the film industry, Sony operates as the studio behind major superhero projects, including the upcoming feature Spider-Man: Brand New Day starring Tom Holland. The organization also manages project distribution, though it recently attracted public pushback after abruptly canceling plans to distribute the dramatic film feature The Salt Path, which stars Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs, due to questions surrounding its real-life book source material.
