Remember The Titans

Remember the Titans is a 2000 Disney sports classic feature film. The movie stars Denzel Washington alongside a supporting cast that includes child star Hayden Panettiere, who delivered a breakout performance as Sheryl Yoast, as well as actor Ethan Suplee.

The hit sports drama held its grand red-carpet premiere event at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena on September 23, 2000. The movie launch drew significant press focus at the time and helped establish Panettiere as a prominent young screen talent prior to her later television work on hit series.

Decades after the movie was released, the film returned to public attention through cast reflections and news surrounding its former stars. Suplee publicly detailed his secret battle with severe drug addiction on the night of the movie's premiere, recalling how holding his ten-year-old co-star on the red carpet brought him a brief moment of peace.
