About Reacher
Reacher is an action drama television series streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Alan Ritchson as itinerant former U.S. Army military police officer Jack Reacher, the hit flagship show is adapted from the widely popular book series written by author Lee Child.
Developed with showrunner Nick Santora, the series follows its muscular protagonist as he gets drawn into dangerous conspiracies, bone-crunching action, and relentless mysteries across the country. The show's fourth season adapts Lee Child's hit 2009 novel Gone Tomorrow, picking up after a tense encounter on a Philadelphia subway leads to a lethal hunt for a missing flash drive. The series is also characterized by prominent tracklists featuring classic rock and alternative music needle drops.
The massive success of the primary drama has led Amazon Prime Video to expand the franchise into a broader streaming universe. This includes the standalone spinoff series Neagley, focused on Reacher's key ally, building upon the foundation of the original series.
- Coverage of Reacher focuses on its status as a powerhouse action franchise for Amazon Prime Video and the central role of lead actor Alan Ritchson.
- Reports frequently highlight its faithful book adaptations, distinct musical tracklists, and recent efforts to build a broader streaming universe through spinoff projects.
