About Onslaught
Onslaught is an intense military slasher horror film directed by Adam Wingard from a story developed alongside his longtime creative partner Simon Barrett. The feature film stars actors Adria Arjona and Dan Stevens, who portray lead characters trapped in a violent fight for survival.
The movie represents a deliberate return to raw, low-budget horror for Wingard and Barrett following their work on large-scale Hollywood studio blockbusters such as Godzilla vs. Kong. Known for their earlier cult collaborations including The Guest and You're Next, the creative duo focused Onslaught on high-octane thrills, relentless gore, and a suspenseful 12-hour countdown to a brutal massacre.
Public interest surrounding the project was highlighted during its red carpet premiere in August 2026. The promotional screening attracted attention when veteran actor Reginald VelJohnson made a rare public appearance at the event, delighting fans and generating media coverage.
