Lil Nas x

Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill on April 9, 1999, is a Grammy-winning musician and rapper. He achieved historic chart dominance with his breakout crossover single "Old Town Road," a collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus. The track spent 19 weeks at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100, holding the record for the longest-running non-holiday chart-topper for years before being surpassed in 2026.

Outside of his music achievements, the hitmaker has opened up to fans about his personal growth and recovery journey. After completing a stay in inpatient rehab treatment and resolving a felony legal case, he celebrated a major personal landmark by posting about reaching his 10,000th day alive across social media platforms.

The performer has also shared moments of deep grief while continuing his path toward health and healing. In August 2026, he publicly mourned the death of his mother on social media with a photo slideshow tribute. He reflected candidly on their complex dynamic, which was impacted by her long battle with addiction, while navigating his own commitment to sobriety.
