Kpop Demon Hunters

KPop Demon Hunters is a Netflix animated feature film and musical project that follows fictional K-pop groups including HUNTR/X, whose members are Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, and the Saja Boys, featuring idols Jinu and Abby. The animated movie also features characters such as Derpy the supernatural tiger.

The film achieved major music industry success behind its standout single, Golden, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 2026 Academy Awards. The movie's soundtrack has spent 58 non-consecutive weeks at the top of Billboard's Top Soundtracks chart over a 62-week period on the ranking.

The movie's cultural reach extends beyond the screen. Voice talents Andrew Choi and Neckwav booked a live performance at London's Outernet Live venue as their Saja Boys characters Jinu and Abby. Additionally, the hit song Golden inspired a Sesame Street parody, was covered on the series finale of The Kelly Clarkson Show, and spawned official merchandise including glow-in-the-dark temporary tattoos on Amazon.
