Josh Homme

Josh Homme is a rock musician and lead vocalist best known as the frontman for Queens of the Stone Age. He is recognized for his desert-rock performance style and long-running career leading the alternative rock group across major stadium tours and studio album releases.

Recent coverage highlights Homme leading Queens of the Stone Age through the rollout of their autumn studio album, Perfecth. Alongside bandmate Dean Fertita, Homme starred in a theatrical teaser video for the project, which was followed by the release of the preview track Insignificant Other. During this period, Homme and his bandmates maintained a busy live schedule, including stadium performances alongside Foo Fighters.

Homme has also drawn media attention for his outspoken stage presence and participation in high-profile charity events. During a concert at Ford Field in Detroit, he defied indoor venue rules by lighting a cigarette on stage and launching into a critique of venue management, later explaining in an interview that his actions were a protest against corporate pricing. He also performed covers of classic tracks by David Bowie and INXS at the Golf Jam charity fundraiser.
