Jordan Firstman

Jordan Firstman is a comedian, actor, and filmmaker who transitioned from creating popular online content to writing, directing, and starring in feature films. He is best known for his work on the festival circuit and for leading voice projects in animated film.

Firstman made his feature directorial debut with the comedic drama Club Kid, in which he also stars as a hedonistic nightlife promoter whose life is disrupted upon discovering he has a secret ten-year-old son. The project screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, earning a six-minute standing ovation from attendees. Distributor A24 acquired the picture in a reported seventeen million dollar deal prior to its screening at the Telluride Film Festival and a planned theatrical release in November.

Following the festival reception for his directorial debut, Firstman joined the English-language voice cast for the animated comedy Jim Queen. He provides the voice for the title character in the film, which was co-directed by Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Athané and also premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
