James Blunt

James Blunt is a chart-topping British musician and hitmaker. He is married to Sofia Wellesley, with whom he makes public outings.

In 2026, Blunt was revealed as an all-star cast member for the second season of the BBC reality competition show The Celebrity Traitors. Set in the Scottish Highlands and hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the game puts celebrity contestants through psychological warfare and deception, featuring double-episode broadcasts on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Teasers for the series highlighted Blunt alongside fellow contestants such as Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey, and Richard E. Grant.

That same year, Blunt made headlines after directly shutting down online speculation that he was the unnamed famous male figure mentioned in Hayden Panettiere's memoir regarding a yacht outing from early in her career. Following his public statements dismissing the viral rumors, Blunt was spotted enjoying a date night in public with his wife.
