Interpol is an indie rock and post-punk band recognized for its dark, atmospheric energy and alternative rock sound. The group has established a solid standing in alternative music while maintaining an active presence across digital streaming platforms and international live concert stages.
The outfit officially launched a fresh era in their music career with the release of their eighth full-length studio album, titled This Mirror Weighs a Ton. Marking their debut release after signing a record deal with Partisan Records, the 12-track collection was produced by Miike Snow frontman Andrew Wyatt to showcase the band's signature style.
In addition to recording, Interpol continues to command high-profile concert appearances around the world. During a headlining performance at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego, skateboarding icon Tony Hawk appeared on stage to share a story from their first meeting in 2004 and pledged never to retire from skateboarding until Interpol stops touring. The band also performed at the joint Outbreak x All Points East event in London's Victoria Park alongside Deftones, IDLES, and AFI.
